And as if there hadn't been enough music-related activities for the last couple of days - tonight our friend Nikolaj Fisker brought along his Leica camera for a Neon Machine photo session - mainly outdoor night shots, lit only (fittingly) by the neon lights of the city.

Spent the day in AudioPlanet studio, where engineer Jan Eliasson worked his magic on the Neon Machine album. Within a normal workday, we managed to get all fourteen tracks done and the cd master finished. And I even found time for a few hours of web work in between listening.

The Daniel Johnston show in Little Vega was sold out long ago - and as you'd expect, the room was full of dedicated fans, who either listened intently or sang along to the songs.
I am so fascinated by this strange artist that it's hard for me to judge him with any kind of objectivity. Here is a man who has been to Hell - and has come back with naïve songs of heartfelt hope. A singularly moving experience.
And while I stood there in awe, Lars and Morten of Neon Machine were busy preparing the finished mixes of the Neon Machine debut album for the mastering session tomorrow.
