Luckily, we had booked our return flight with Air Berlin and so wasn't affected by Sterling's crash today. So we made it back to Copenhagen as planned.

Checked out the Art Forum Berlin - and didn't exactly discover the next big thing. Of course, the Art Forum is presented by the art dealers, and thus may not give the full picture of the present state of the art world. But still... Anyway, there were fine surprises there, like the unassumingly weird work of Marcel Dzama.

On the morning of our flight to Berlin, we learned that the airline (Sterling) had filed for bankruptcy, rendering our tickets null and void. Birgitte acted swiftly, and ensured two tickets from EasyJet for a later flight. So eventually, we made it to Berlin as planned.
(Our return tickets to Gran Canaria in November and a flight to Berlin in December are also lost, however. Damn, damn, damn!)

A remarkably creative weekend in the summerhouse resulted in no less than two new songs: "Feeding My Suspicion" and "The Ugly Crowd". Both are up on my MySpace page.

After adding a few finishing touches to a single track tonight, Neon Machine decided that we're done mixing our 14-track debut album. You heard it here first. Now, we just need to get through the rest of the process: Mastering, album design, printing etc. Oh yeah, and wait for a major label to sign us. That'll be the day...
